The program works as advertised. There are some important relationships missing, ie. grandmother-grandfather, step parents, etc. I can add those titles but Relationship Completer does not recognize them. Maybe in a future release the program will allow user customized relationship?

Really cool. What would be awesome is, if RC could make some clever guesses as wether someone is male or female, so that symmetric relations result in e.g. "sister" instead of just "sibling" if the target is already e.g. a "sister" (or "daughter"..) of someone else.

I notice also that the behavior of RC v1.1.0 is not reciprocal. If I make Jane Doe the "spouse" of John Doe, it does not automatically make John Doe the spouse of Jane Doe in her record. Really what this creates is a "rely on this other contact for my shared info such as home address," which is somewhat different (and quite useful).

J Scott Anderson,

I think you have a good idea. I guess the best thing to do when creating a new card is to ask the user which items to copy. Perhaps the defaults can be guessed based on the relationship. I will look into adding this feature soon.

Your Relationship Completer plug-in is a great little utility. It would be greatly complimented by a plug-in that would take a name from a selected relationship and use it to create a new related card.

As I am sure you know, Address Book contact information is not normalized. So, the same contact information (e.g. phone numbers, addresses, etc.) are entered and stored multiple times even though it may be exactly the same. And while Relationship Completer makes it much simpler to connect two cards together, I still have to create the second card.

This idea would take the contact information from the first created card and use it to created a related second card thus saving a lot of keystrokes.

Keep up the good work.
